Asked Questions
Do I need a consultation before starting?
Yes. All new patients have a video consultation after blood results are back and before treatment begins. This ensures your prescription is safe, personalised and clinically appropriate. It is included in your subscription.

Can I cancel any time?
Yes, after the first three months. We ask for a minimum three-month commitment because your plan includes upfront services such as blood testing and prescriptions. After that, you can cancel with 14 days’ notice before your next billing date.

What if I am already on BHRT?
That is fine. We will check whether this plan suits your current dose and needs. You will be asked to book a BHRT review appointment before joining the subscription.
What if I am not eligible?
If the screening form shows the plan is not a good fit, we will offer alternatives, such as a Lifestyle Medicine, Functional Medicine or standard BHRT consultation.
How are blood tests arranged?
We work with Inuvi, a nationwide provider. You will be contacted by text or email within two working days to arrange your appointment. Tests are timed to your cycle, if applicable, and carried out via phlebotomy.

Do I need to show ID?
Yes. To ensure safe prescribing, you will need to show photo ID, for example a passport or driving licence, during your first video call. This is a legal and clinical requirement.

What if I have a uterus and I am postmenopausal?
You will need to arrange an annual pelvic ultrasound to continue receiving prescriptions. This is not included in the subscription. We will remind you and can recommend providers such as Ultrasound Direct.

Is the medication included in the price?
Yes. Your personalised hormone cream is included in your monthly or quarterly fee. There are no separate pharmacy payments. It is prescribed by Dr Amina Davison and compounded by Roseway Pharmacy, a GPhC-regulated provider.
